A solar inverter is required in your solar panel system as it converts your Direct Current (DC) electricity that is captured by your solar panels into Alternative Current (AC). AC current is supplied by you electricity provider to power your home and appliance and in the UK is 240V and without a solar inverter in your system you would be unable to power your home safely.
